Your data, in plain English.

What we collect

• Your email address, when you sign up for the newsletter or the Starter Shelf.
• Your name, only if you choose to give it (it's optional).
• The signup source — which page or form you signed up from — so we can tell what's working.
• A timestamp of when you agreed to receive email from us, and the version of the consent copy you agreed to.

That's it. We don't collect analytics profiles, we don't track you across the web, and we don't ask for anything we don't need.

Why we collect it

To send you the monthly Margins X newsletter and, if you asked for it, the Starter Shelf PDF. That's the only reason.

Where it's processed

Your email lives in our own database and is passed to the following processors, who help us actually send email:

• Mailchimp — sends the newsletter and Starter Shelf.
• Zapier — moves your signup from our site into Mailchimp.

Both are bound by their own privacy terms and process data on our behalf. We don't share your data with anyone else, and we never sell it.

How to unsubscribe

Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you're out — no forms, no "are you sure?".

Data requests

If you'd like a copy of the data we hold about you, or you'd like us to delete it, email hello@margins-x.com and we'll take care of it.

Cookies

We don't use tracking cookies. The site sets only the essentials it needs to function.
